December 22-27, Christmas!

Scott and Ann visited us for Christmas week.  We had a wonderful visit despite some cold and rainy weather!

The weather did not cooperate for fun in the sun, but we had a lot of fun enjoying the great food, ambiance of Key West and some interesting history.  We did go to the Mel Fisher Museum, amazing treasures uncovered after his life long search, really something to see!  We visited Truman’s White House in Key West.  Harry Truman was beloved in Key West and was a genuine nice guy.  “If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog”, and many other quotes noted!  We did go to the Key West Art and History museum too, lots of information regarding Henry Flagler’s overseas  railway bridge and of course lots of information and memorabilia pertaining to Ernest Hemingway.

Bagatelle,  The Perry Christmas brunch, Hog fish, Hog’s Breath, The Boat House, The Conch Republic, Roostica were some of our favorites for dining and of course chef Mike on No Agenda
