We got up early from our anchorage and traveled 4 hours and 39 minutes to Calvert Marina on Solomon Island. The weather was shifting and storms expected so we wanted to be at a dock. Our friends Chris and Laura were also going there. Laura needed to drive to Baltimore to pick up her nephew, Stephen, who will be spending some time traveling with them. Our friends from Indigo Seas were also there, Linda and Simon. We had a good time dining together and touring the sights. Simon and Linda do custom boat work for a living and we had them re-stich some of our canvas while we were there. Much Appreciated!

I rode to the airport with Laura to pick up Stephen! We stopped at Jerry’s Seafood! It was locally recommended and had the Best crab cakes on the Chesapeake!!
La Vela was recommended to us by our friend Jodie Knox who we met in Washington, DC. It did not disappoint! Great food, friends and fun!
