We traveled 5 hours and 56 minutes to the Narrows Lock, or 30.9 NM. We went through 8 locks to get here! The days start out cool with a light jacket or long sleeve shirt but by noon it is HOT! There was a park at our dockage, bathroom and bbq pits. We grilled chicken and had a pot luck dinner. It was very hot when we arrived, the water here is crystal clear, you can see the bottom of the lake. Mike couldn’t resist and dove into the 72 degree water for a swim…Needless to say I had to join in! It was like swimming in a beer cooler, but refreshing!!!
