We traveled 24 NM , 3 hours and 45 minutes to Jones Falls Lock and park. We had 7 Lockes to travel . After the second lock of the day we stopped at The Opinion Resort for lunch which was located at the Chaffey lock.
The Opinion was built 120 years ago and served as a private residence and a resort. In 2016 the whole place was renovated and today visitors come to the Opinion by car, boat and float plane for excellent meals, pubs and hotel! It was really neat to see this place and take a break from the locking process!!
If you have ever watched Lake Front Bargain Hunt you have seen some of these great cabins on private islands, only accessible by water! It is really a beautiful sight, so crisp and clean!

The Hotel Kenney is located at the Jones Lock, it had and ice cream shop, restaurant, bar and lodging. The girls all met for a pre dinner drink at the bar while Swen cooked a chicken pasta for dinner.
I am intrigued. I want to go there! Cool.
