July 22, Hopewell Bay Anchorage, Travel Day 127

We left Henry’s early and traveled 26.5 NM or 4 hours and 1 minute to reach Hopewell Bay.  This was a beautiful anchorage with room for several boats.  Theresa and Susan on Masquerade had recommended this spot from their loop.  We anchored, swam, did some maintenance, took a dinghy ride exploring and had Linda and Simon from Indigo Seas over for dinner.  We had not seen them since Norfolk and it was good to catch up.  Mike grilled steaks.  It was a fun evening.  We watched for the Northern Lights but did not see anything unusual in the night sky.  I set an alarm for midnight to check!
