April 25, Travel Day 80, St. Michael’s Maryland

We traveled 32.3 nautical miles, 4 hours and 35 minutes to reach St. Michaels Marina.  This wonderful Bay side town is home to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.  The museum is a living museum with lots of hands on activities.  It has an 18 acre waterfront campus and truly demonstrates how people live, work and play on the Chesapeake Bay!  Mike loved it so much he went two days in a row

St. Michaels is a beautiful coastal town.  It had a lovely Main Street with lots of shops and restaurants.  The bike trail was scenic and we meandered through parks and marsh land.

Our fellow loopers, Chris, Laura and Stephen were also at the same marina and our boats are pictured below docked side by side!  We were able to “Bow” in for docking  which is much easier than backing into the dock!

No Agenda was docked next to the Tiki Bar!  What’s not to love!!
