April 3, Belhaven, NC, travel Day 67

We traveled 5 hours and 50 minutes on the ICW and the Pamlico Sound to reach Belhaven.  We fueled, pumped out, did laundry and then set out to explore the town which was 400 foot from the marina!  I made dinner reservations for us at the Spoon River and before the afternoon was over we had 7 for dinner!  This was a great stop, nice marina, quaint town, free laundry and well appointed bathrooms!

The conversations with these fellow travelers are always easy, everyone has a story and an experience to share.  It is neat to have a whole support group along the way!  Chris and Laura will be a few days behind as they had to pull their boat out of the water to fix a bent prop. Fred is traveling solo from Florida to Connecticut, Nick and Tracy completed the loop in 2019 and were cruising for the winter.  Tracy is a PA and we had a lot of job related medical stuff to talk about.
