Portsmouth and Norfolk are large Naval ports. We took a ferry to Norfolk and went to the Naval Museum
Left: Mike pictured with Captain Pete Brunk.Captain Brunk served in the US Coast Guard from 1954-1980. He was a volunteer at the Naval Museum and had many stories regarding his experiences. He was on the team that discovered the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
We had several fun days with Simon and Linda from Indigo Seas! We met in the Dismal Swamp and docked together in Portsmouth. We had dinner at a wonderful German restaurant upon arriving in Portsmouth and we also spent time with them on Easter.l. We went to the movie Journey, which is a musical special starring Andrea Bocelli as he rides horses across Italy on a pilgrimage journey. It was full of beautiful scenery, beautiful music and beautiful horses! It was truly an inspiring experience full of Grace and Hope…perfect for Easter!
