We traveled 45.1 NM or 6 hours and 1 minute to reach Grand Haven Municipal Marina. We had a smooth day of cruising on the big lake. Docking in Grand Haven was a bit challenging due to the current in the river, it took us 2 attempts! The waves on Lake Michigan were 3-7 foot the next 2 days and we were happy to be at a secure dock! No Agenda rolled from side to side for 2 days due to the high seas and it was a good time to go to shore. We took a trolley ride, visited with other loopers, watched the nightly performance of the “Musical Fountain” had a pronto dog and enjoyed the shops and beach at Grand Haven. We did some bike riding on the river bike path.
We had a wonderful visit from Ruth and Rich Winkler. Rich grew up in Perryville and is a brother to our friend Stan. Ruth and Rich live near Grand Haven and took time out to come for lunch and to see No Agenda! It was so nice spending time with them.
