We traveled 26.2 NM, 4 hours and 2 minutes from Covered Portage to Baie Fine (The Pool), anchorage.
Baie Fine is a fjord-like cut. It is a 10 mile passage to The Pool at its far end. There is a dinghy dock on the north shore and is at the base of the marked trail which leads to Topaz Lake. Topaz lake has crystalline turquoise water and was absolutely stunning.
Pictured to the left is the Evinrude Cottage. It is owned by the Evinrude outboard engine family. The family used to hook their yacht to the cottage to provide electric in the cottage! The cottage is at the entrance to The Pool Anchorage.
We were anchored with Bill and Margie from Crustacean, and Diana and Marshall from Escape. We had dinner on Crustacean.
