We traveled 2 hours and 21 minutes on the Chambly Canal and docked on the wall after Lock 1. We went under the lift bridge as a group of 4, the locks are small and only 2 boats were allowed at a time. Red Rover and No Agenda locked through first. The same locking crew met us at the next lock. We traveled at 5 mph in the canal. The Richelieu River would be the expected route but there are rapids that are not negotiable by boat, so the canals were built.
